Long Stone Age Deer Skin Pouch.

Description

The skins come from the lower leg of my locally managed deer population. I butcher my own meat and stock my freezer with wild venison, and since I cannot abide watse, this is a typical example of how i use the whole animal as our ancestors would have certainly done. 

The skin is dried and partially softened, as such it is stable and should last you for many years. Try your best to keep it dry, but if it should get wet just dry it out at your first opportunity and it will be fine.

I will treat the skin with wood smoke in the traditional way, this will help keep the clothes moths away (plus I think it smells great).

WARNING: This is basically a dog chew, your hound will love to chew on this pouch so be careful where you leave it. You have been warned!
