Custom Neck – Lighter

Affectionally known as a ‘CLIBBER’ in the workshop, these are a favourite of mine. I carry one everywhere.

Intended to be worn around the neck to ensure you know where it is. Gas lighters can struggle to function in a cold climate. When worn under your outer layers, your body heat will ensure a flame whatever the weather. Form and function combined in this stylish desgin.

This is a hand made, hand coloured, hand stitched custom lighter case using oak veg-tanned leather as the base. I use low voc glues and dyes to keep the eco-damage down and no machines are used at any point, totally hand made.

As with many of my creations this one features some ‘bush-bling’, embellished with a panel of exotic skin. Some will feature ‘rescued’ snake leather from the dusty corner of some second hand store (I cannot abide waste), or a piece of bark tanned, locally sourced fish skin leather that I make myself.

Either way a beautiful personal piece for daily use.
